Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily operational database administration activities in a production enterprise environment.
- Plan, design, implement, and support database structures (schemas, tables, indexes, storage, etc.) to meet system requirements and standards.
- Conduct database performance monitoring and tuning , including troubleshooting and remediation of production issues.
- ssist in the design, development, optimization, and amendment of database schemas and related structures.
- Develop and maintain DBA procedures and technical documentation .
- Perform SQL code reviews and help enforce database standards and best practices.
- Support database work for application enhancements and rewrites , partnering with project and data stakeholders.
- Provide training/mentoring to other technical staff as needed.
- Contribute to an overall data architecture approach that supports organizational needs and security standards.
