Legal Secretary/Legal Assistant

Our busy law firm in the northern suburbs is in search of a HIGH-LEVEL LEGAL SECRETARY/ASSISTANT EXTRAORDINAIRE!
Do you have experience and enjoy organization, managing calendars, scheduling and preparing documents from dictation at an attorneys request? How about assisting in the billing process and opening/closing files? Are you detail oriented to the nth degree? Do you enjoy preparing federal court filings, preparing for trials, pleading a brief preparation, e-filing, gathering/organizing voluminous case documents and organizing medical records? If so, please read on!
Do you have a minimum of four years secretarial experience, ideally in professional malpractice defense litigation but if not, your experience includes time working in a law firm? Do you have solid computer skills and are you able to quickly learn new programs? Are you a stickler for proofreading, grammar, spelling and punctuation and have a very high degree of accuracy? Are you an amazing multi-tasker who can keep track of and meet deadlines?
