Our collaborative team environment includes skilled physical therapists and a dedicated physical therapy assistant (PTA), ensuring that our patients receive the highest standard of care.

Work Environment

This full-time position is situated onsite at our modern rehabilitation facility in the heart of Irvine. The center fosters a supportive and friendly atmosphere that encourages professional development and teamwork. You will typically work a Monday to Friday schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM, focusing on providing personalized physical therapy to our diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient needs and establish treatment objectives tailored to individual goals.
• Effectively manage and treat one patient per hour, ensuring quality care and positive outcomes through focused therapeutic techniques.
• Devise and implement personalized care plans incorporating a range of treatment modalities that may include exercise therapy, manual therapy, and modalities such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation.
• Educate and motivate patients during therapy sessions, fostering a supportive environment that encourages their active participation in their recovery process.
• Document treatment sessions, track progress, and adjust care plans as necessary based on observed outcomes and patient feedback.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to optimize treatment approaches and align patient care strategies across disciplines.
• Continuously assess the effectiveness of interventions and maintain open communication with patients regarding their progress.
• Promote lifestyle changes that contribute to improving strength, flexibility, balance, and overall wellness in clients.
• Stay informed on the latest rehabilitation techniques and trends by participating in continuing education opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Moon Orthopedic Rehabilitation Center, our primary focus is on individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries, including joint replacements, fractures, and sports injuries. You will have the opportunity to work with a broad range of patients, from athletes seeking to return to peak performance to older adults dedicated to restoring mobility and independence.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Current and valid California state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions against your license.
• Proficient in the use of electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, especially in a similar role, is highly desirable.
• Proven expertise in manual therapy techniques and developing effective exercise regimens for diverse patients.

Compensation and Benefits

The role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
