Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our outpatient office in Santa Ana, offering a vibrant and interactive atmosphere where you will work closely with a skilled team, including two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant. The work schedule is structured from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a disciplined yet flexible work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions to identify individual needs and establish care plans.
• Manage a caseload, effectively seeing one patient per hour, to provide dedicated, focused treatment sessions.
• Utilize a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities to enhance mobility, reduce pain, and promote rehabilitation.
• Create comprehensive and personalized fitness and wellness programs tailored to the specific goals and conditions of each patient.
• Deliver educational materials to patients and families, empowering them with knowledge about their conditions and preventive strategies.
• Document patients' progress meticulously in our EMR system, including treatment frequency, techniques used, and outcomes achieved.
• Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare providers to develop integrated care strategies that optimize treatment outcomes.
• Offer motivational support to patients throughout their rehabilitation process, tracking their improvements and adjusting care plans as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient demographic primarily consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions involving musculoskeletal disorders. You will engage with a diverse range of clients, from athletes looking to reclaim their peak performance to elderly patients focused on maintaining their mobility and independence. The role emphasizes creating individualized treatment experiences in a warm, inviting environment where patients feel valued and supported.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from a recognized institution.
• Current and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of California.
• An unblemished professional record with no board actions or disciplinary measures against licensure.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques, demonstrating practical experience and skill.
• Ability to develop and implement effective exercise regimens tailored to unique patient needs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, is preferred for efficient documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working within orthopedic outpatient environments is highly desirable.
• A background in sports therapy or experience in rehabilitating athletic injuries is a plus.
• Experience in implementing innovative wellness programs and patient engagement strategies.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
