Work Environment

This role is set in our outpatient office located in Santa Ana, California. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation technology and therapeutic tools, including therapeutic exercise equipment, gait training devices, and software for maintaining records and tracking patient progress. The office allows for onsite patient interactions, fostering a supportive environment for both therapists and patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and consultations with patients to evaluate their physical conditions, movements, and specific symptoms.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on enhancing mobility, strength, and functional independence.
• Guide patients in appropriate therapeutic exercises while demonstrating proper techniques to ensure safety and effectiveness.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques, including stimulation and massage, to promote healing and pain relief.
• Assist patients in the safe and effective use of assistive equipment such as wheelchairs, walkers, and other rehabilitation aids.
• Continuously monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on evaluations and outcomes.
• Engage with patients and their families, providing education on in-home treatment options, exercises, and lifestyle modifications.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work closely with patients across the lifespan, providing rehabilitation for various diagnoses including orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders, and post-surgical recovery. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or related field is required; a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
