1099 opening in charming Savannah, GA, with team-oriented practice at Candler Hospital and St. Joseph's Hospital with a high degree of autonomy. Chartered in 1804, Candler Hospital is Georgia's first hospital, and the second oldest continuously operating hospital in the United States. This 384-bed facility is affiliated with the Methodist Church and offers comprehensive primary care, outpatient services, and other specialty services. St. Joseph's Hospital has been part of this growing community since 1934, caring for generations of patients of all ages. Extremely skilled and experienced physicians, including those with national and international reputations, cover more than 70 specialties—such as surgery, internal medicine, neurology, and cardiology. A new six-story tower with 90 private patient rooms features a covered drop-off entrance and convenient ground-floor registration for patients. Our practice has served the Southeast Georgia market for more than 60 years and provides anesthesia services at St. Joseph's/Candler Hospitals, Effingham Hospital in Springfield, GA, and several ambulatory surgery centers.

Awards Received the American College of Cardiology (ACC) Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI Accreditation for the fifth time. Earns The American Nurses Credentialing Center's Magnet Recognition for fifth time in 2020. Received the Silver Award from the ACC in 2022.

Case Assignments Cardiac, general, orthopedic, neuro, GI, vascular, endo, gynecology, pediatrics. Radiologic and Interventional Cardiac Procedures. No OB.

Shifts Monday thru Friday 0700-1500, call and non-call opportunities, other shifts also available.

Requirements Responsibilities Pre-anesthesia assessment Obtains and/or verifies patient consent Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition Performance of clinical intervention as needed.

Requirements Master's Degree from an Accredited Anesthesiologist Assistant Program Complies with American Academy of Anesthesiologist Assistants licensure guidelines.
