Production Technician II

Production Technician II at Pfizer's Wisconsin facility operates manufacturing equipment and oversees aseptic and chemical cleaning activities in pharmaceutical plants and distribution centers. The role involves monitoring processes, responding to equipment issues, maintaining records, and training new technicians while ensuring compliance with safety and manufacturing standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate equipment and processes according to standard operating procedures and batch records
- Monitor manufacturing, cleaning, and water system processes; respond to alarms and address malfunctions
- Notify supervisors of equipment failures and process deviations; work to resolve issues
- Maintain inventory, records, and logbooks; communicate information between work teams
- Train new technicians and ensure all work complies with safety policies and regulations
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED with 2+ years of relevant manufacturing experience
- Ability to learn and operate industry-standard software
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience training others
- Proficiency in English reading, writing, and speaking
- Physical capability to stand, walk, lift 50 lbs, and operate industrial equipment
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (preferred)
- Experience in food or dietary supplement manufacturing with blending (preferred)
Compensation: $21.78–$36.30 per hour
