Administrative Assistant / Shipping Coordinator

We are seeking a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant / Shipping Coordinator to support daily office operations in a manufacturing environment. This role involves a combination of administrative support, order entry, shipping coordination, and documentation management. Our customers include global leaders in the aerospace, military, and food industries, so accuracy and attention to detail are critical. The ideal candidate must be comfortable managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced office setting and be able to work accurately with orders, shipping documentation, and data entry. Duties: Monitor the company email inbox where customer orders are received and forward orders to the appropriate engineer Process customer orders by printing orders, entering order information into the company system, and creating order acknowledgements and packing lists Coordinate domestic and international shipments, including LTL, UPS, FedEx, and DHL shipments Prepare export/customs documentation using company templates Assist with invoicing when needed Answer incoming phone calls and direct calls to the appropriate department or team member Assist with filing, document organization, and general administrative support Requirements: 2–3 years of experience in shipping coordination or order entry, or similar administrative office work is required Experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload Estimated Compensation: $25 – $28 per hour Job Type: Full-time (36 hours per week) Schedule: Monday – Friday (Friday is a half day; no remote work available) #J-18808-Ljbffr
