This role brings business, product, technology, and operational teams together to manage roadmaps, resources, milestones, dependencies, risks, and organizational readiness within a value-stream model. The ideal candidate is a trusted adviser and influential leader who can turn strategy into coordinated execution and measurable business outcomes.The Staff Program Manager is responsible for leading the execution of complex, cross-functional transformation programs aligned with TriNet's strategic priorities and business goals. Working within a value-stream model, this role connects strategy to execution by coordinating teams, resources, milestones, dependencies, risks, and organizational readiness across multiple initiatives and lines of business.The Staff Program Manager partners with program sponsors, business leaders, product teams, technology teams, operations, and other stakeholders to define success, establish effective governance, and maintain alignment throughout the program lifecycle. The role facilitates decision-making, resolves competing priorities, and ensures that stakeholder requirements are reflected in both the proposed solution and the delivery plan.Key responsibilities include:Leading complex programs that may span multiple business functions and related projectsTranslating strategic priorities into actionable roadmaps, milestones, and delivery plansManaging day-to-day program activities, resources, interdependencies, risks, and issuesEstablishing governance that keeps sponsors and key stakeholders appropriately informed and engagedDefining success criteria with stakeholders and aligning program teams around targeted outcomesPreparing clear status reports, proposals, requirements, presentations, and executive communicationsFacilitating productive program discussions and guiding teams toward timely decisions and outcomesApplying critical thinking to dependencies across business, operations, people, process, and technologyAnticipating delivery challenges and implementing effective risk-mitigation strategiesSupporting business readiness and change-management considerations throughout deliveryBuilding trusted relationships and influencing stakeholders and cross-functional teams without direct authorityPromoting consistent program-management practices, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvementUsing TriNet's end-to-end Value Creation process and stage-gate guidelines while supporting agile delivery and iterative value realizationThe successful candidate will bring significant program-management experience, including demonstrated leadership of large-scale transformation programs involving multiple related projects. The role requires strong executive communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, negotiation, facilitation, and organizational skills. Candidates should be comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced environment, balancing competing priorities, and working with employees and leaders at all levels of the organization.A bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience is desired. Candidates with a bachelor's degree will typically bring at least eight years of program-management experience. Knowledge of agile methodologies is expected, and PMP certification is desired. Advanced experience with program-management and collaboration tools such as Monday.com, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office is also preferred.The preferred location for this role is Atlanta, GA, and the salary range for this location is $89,600.00 to $168,000.00. All qualified external applicants will be considered for an in-office role, based in Atlanta. All qualified internal candidates are encouraged to apply and consider relocation to Atlanta and may be considered for remote hire at the company's discretion.
