The Royalty Contracts Associate is responsible for creating ISBNs for various stakeholders in PCS and creating documentation that will be used to support the royalty linking process. The Associate must effectively interact with and maintain a strong customer service relationship with editors, product management, and business units. The individual must be able to work under pressure and meet time-sensitive deadlines to fulfill corporate and legal obligations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Enter and maintain ISBN information in PCS
- Analyze and interpret contracts and amendments (to determine Author payments)
- Clear royalty sales suspense items.
- Respond/resolve inquiries/requests from business units; editorial groups; legal department; contracts department and other groups from inside the company.
- Identify and participate in continuous process improvements.
- Work on special projects as needed.
- Provide general support to the Royalty Contract Administrator
Qualifications
Required Knowledge and Experience
- Extensive data entry experience with high degree of accuracy.
Education
- Four-year college degree is desirable, or equivalent work experience
Skills Preferred
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
- Detail-oriented.
- Good research skills.
- Ability to analyze/interpret legal documents is a plus.
- Customer service experience is desirable.
- Good math skills.
- Effective communication (verbal & written) skills.

Hiring Range: $25.38 - $28.00/ hour
