Team Lead – 3rd Shift

Location: Holland, MI
Shift: 3rd Shift | 8:30 PM–7:00 AM | Sunday–Thursday
Pay: $19.00–$21.00/hour (Based on Experience)

Job Summary

We're looking for a dependable and motivated Team Lead to support our 3rd Shift manufacturing operations in Holland, MI. This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll work directly alongside the production team while helping coordinate daily activities, provide direction, and keep production running efficiently.

The ideal candidate is someone who leads by example, isn't afraid to jump into production work, and can help the team meet safety, quality, and production expectations.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Team Lead, your core responsibilities will include:

• Working Team Leadership: Work hands-on alongside production employees while providing daily direction, support, and leadership to the team.
• Hands-On Production: Perform regular production duties throughout the shift and step into different work areas as needed to maintain workflow and meet production goals.
• Production Coordination: Help organize workloads, assign tasks, and adjust priorities throughout the shift to keep production moving efficiently.
• Employee Training & Support: Assist with training team members on job duties, equipment operation, quality expectations, and proper work procedures.
• Quality Control: Monitor production and finished products to ensure company and customer quality standards are consistently met.
• Problem-Solving: Identify production, equipment, or workflow issues and work with team members and supervisors to resolve them.
• Production Monitoring: Track production progress and help ensure daily schedules and goals are achieved.
• Safety Compliance: Lead by example by following safe work practices and ensuring team members follow established safety procedures.
• Shift Communication: Communicate production updates, employee concerns, quality issues, and other important information to supervisors and management.

This is a working Team Lead position, meaning you will spend your shift actively participating in production while balancing leadership responsibilities. You must be comfortable jumping in wherever needed to help your team succeed.

What We're Looking For

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or production experience required.
• Previous Team Lead, leadership, or supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be comfortable working hands-on in production while leading and supporting team members.
• Must be willing to perform the same production duties as team members when needed.
• Ability to provide clear direction, coaching, and support to production employees.
• Ability to train and assist employees with production processes and procedures.
• Ability to balance hands-on production responsibilities with Team Lead duties.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong attendance, dependability, and work ethic.
• Ability to work the full 3rd Shift schedule.
