Step into a meaningful role supporting students for the 2026-2027 school year as a part-time Physical Therapist. This contract opportunity offers the chance to make a direct impact in educational settings near Spanaway, WA, providing expert care to a diverse student population. Enjoy a consistent schedule with 7.5 hours per week, working closely with a caseload of 35-40 students. This position is entirely on-site, fostering strong relationships and collaboration within the school community.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy required
• Valid state licensure for Physical Therapists
• Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as a valued member of an interdisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students’ physical therapy needs within the school environment
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans tailored to student goals
• Collaborate with educators, families, and other support staff to promote student success
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings and documentation
• Provide hands-on support, adaptive strategies, and interventions to improve functional mobility and physical access in the classroom and throughout the school campus
• Educate staff and caregivers on techniques and best practices to support student progress
