Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students’ growth and success through specialized Physical Therapy services in a school-based setting. Work on a part-time schedule, averaging 14-16 hours per week, focusing on a Pre-K through transition age caseload for the upcoming academic year. Your skills will help students reach their fullest potential by addressing motor and physical development needs in close collaboration with school teams near North Lakewood, WA.

Key Requirements:

• Hold a valid (or be eligible for) Washington State Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certificate as a Physical Therapist
• Strong grasp of current PT methodologies, evidence-based practices, and interventions
• Commitment to attending and contributing to IEP and 504 meetings
• Experience in developing and managing therapeutic schedules

Preferred Experience:

• Previous work with students who have limited English proficiency or backgrounds in multicultural and global education
• Familiarity with public-school systems
• Valid driver’s license for travel as needed between sites
• Teaching or consultative experience in educational settings

Role Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess students’ motor and physical development
• Partner with multidisciplinary teams to determine appropriate services and supports
• Design and implement individualized therapy sessions—direct, indirect, and consultative PT—per student needs
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and progress reports in partnership with educators and families
• Adapt approaches to suit diverse student backgrounds and learning needs
