Opportunity:
Physician (MD) - Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology

Job Details:
Handle 4 patient encounters per shift in a 10-bed department
Perform upper GI endoscopy with biopsies, foreign body removal, and fulguration of bleeders
Conduct ERCP procedures including both diagnostic and therapeutic interventions
Perform PEG (percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy) procedures
Execute esophageal dilatation and manometry with interpretation capabilities
Conduct small bowel biopsies and lower GI endoscopy procedures
Perform flexible and rigid sigmoidoscopy examinations
Conduct colonoscopy with biopsy capabilities
Perform endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) procedures
Execute liver biopsy procedures
Must be board certified in Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology
Current Texas medical license required
ACLS certification required
Credentialing timeframe approximately 14 days
