Intake Specialist Job Description The Law Offices of Frederick W. Nessler & Associates, Ltd. is seeking a hardworking, highly motivated, and dependable team player to join our Springfield, IL office as an Intake Specialist. We are a multi-state, plaintiff-focused law firm with extensive experience in a wide variety of different types of cases. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and enjoys being the first point of contact for clients while also assisting with administrative and legal tasks. Key Responsibilities Serve as the first point of contact by answering and directing incoming calls Conduct initial client intakes and gather relevant case information Schedule consultations, meetings, and follow-ups Order initial medical records & bills Maintain and update client files and case management systems Provide administrative and clerical support to attorneys and staff Ensure a professional and positive client experience at all times Qualifications Prior experience as a legal assistant, receptionist, or intake specialist preferred Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) Excellent computer and data entry skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Professional demeanor and strong attention to detail Job Type: Full-Time Location: Springfield, IL (in-office position) Salary: Commensurate with experience Benefits Available for full-time employees (waiting period may apply) Health insurance Paid time off We are an equal opportunity employer.
