Doctor of Medicine | Gastroenterology Location: Bay City, MI Employer: SalviaCore Solutions Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Responsibilities The primary responsibility for this role is to provide comprehensive Gastroenterology coverage, with a mandatory requirement for ERCP proficiency . Daily shifts involve a baseline of patient contact hours, supplemented by call-back duties as needed. Providers must utilize the 'Doc Time' system for recording all hours, as our client utilizes reverse billing and does not approve traditional timesheets. Qualifications & Credentialing To ensure a smooth credentialing process and timely start, candidates must meet the following strict requirements: Licensure: Active Michigan medical license is required. IMLC is accepted only if the start date is 60 days out and a Letter of Qualification (LOQ) is provided. Certification: Board Certified in Gastroenterology is required; however, Truly Board Eligible providers will be reviewed. Clinical Skills: Proficiency in ERCP is mandatory. Documentation: A clean malpractice history is required for expedited credentialing. A copy of the NPDB self-query (pulled within the last 30 days) is required at the time of presentation. Credentialing Extras: An active DEA is required at the time of start. Local providers are preferred. Health Requirements: Documentation of Flu vaccine (24-25 season), COVID-19 vaccination or declination, TB (2-step or Quantiferon), Hep B titer or declination, and proof of MMR, Varicella, and Tdap (within 10 years). What We Offer We provide a transparent compensation structure designed to reflect the specialized nature of Gastroenterology call coverage. Candidates must submit their preferred rates at the time of name clear, inclusive of malpractice costs. The compensation package includes: On-Call Rate: A 24-hour daily rate for Monday through Thursday, which includes 8 hours of gratis in-house time and night call. Friday Rate: A daily shift rate for 12 hours of coverage, including 4 hours of patient contact. Call-Back: Competitive rates for hours worked beyond the daily gratis period. Orientation: Training and online modules are compensated at half the hourly rate. Travel Support: Coverage for car, fuel, and mileage. Lodging is capped at $150 per night (inclusive of taxes). Please note the facility is tax-exempt and lodging must be booked directly (no 3rd party sites).
