If you were trying to identify whether a candidate has true humility, what one question would you ask in a screening call, and why would you pick that question specifically over others? Two candidates have nearly identical resumes. One is genuinely hungry. The other is comfortable and coasting. What's the single question you'd ask each of them that would surface the difference, and what would you be listening for in their answers? Walk us through how you'd structure a 15-minute screening conversation to figure out whether a candidate is exaggerating their resume. Don't list techniques. Give us the actual flow you'd use, in order, and what you'd be doing at each step. What's the one trait you think most recruiters underweight when screening candidates?
