Medication Care Manager - Senior Living

Role Overview The Medication Aide/Med Tech is responsible for administering medications and treatments to residents accurately and safely, ensuring dignity and adherence to regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration Document all medication activities accurately in MAR/TAR in real-time Observe residents during and after medication passes for any changes or concerns Monitor symptoms and administer medications for symptom relief as ordered Report refusals, concerns, or adverse reactions promptly Complete narcotic counts per policy and maintain medication carts and rooms Adhere to infection control and safety standards to ensure resident safety Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma or GED, age 18+ Medication Administration certification CPR and First Aid certifications Strong documentation and communication skills Preferred experience in senior care This role plays a vital part in preventing medication errors, early identification of health changes, and promoting resident safety through detailed attention and compliance. #J-18808-Ljbffr
