THE JOB: As a Learning & Development Partner for New York-NewYork & Excalibur , you will support our mission and vision by facilitating, implementing, and evaluating development offerings geared toward our operational property leaders. Serving as a trusted, backstage consultant to property HR, Guest Experience, and operations leaders, you will deliver tailored leadership solutions and ensure our core commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion is deeply engrained in our training culture, working hand-in-hand with your team to provide premier service to our internal guests in flawless alignment with MGM Resorts policies and all regulatory standards. THE DAY-TO-DAY: Manage the implementation of new hire orientations and enterprise-wide learning initiatives. Partners with HR, Guest Experience, and internal division leaders to assess leadership development needs based on guest feedback and department productivity reporting. Leverage a world-class technology platform for learning delivery and measurement to enable capability development programs, dashboards for leaders to measure team member capabilities, compliance, and skills gaps to advance the overall operations and value of learning. Track statistics, metrics and ROI and create additional learning and performance metrics as required to qualify expense ratio to initiatives Produce, compile, and evaluate pre- and post-course data for measurement of learning quality, participation, satisfaction, performance, and business impact. Partner and consult with operational experts and corporate entities to conduct needs/root case/gap analyses then designs and delivers appropriate learning and custom designed solutions. Design and generate data reporting, information, and documentation in the learning management system. Engage in self-directed work, create, and maintain timetables for projects, manage deadlines and resources, and work with a wide degree of creativity and latitude as well as minimal supervision. Manage training center operations for classroom set-up and break down, material preparation, scheduling, inventory ordering, and resource allocation. Plan and manage class schedules, enrollments, training spaces, materials, and audiovisual needs for training programs.
