Worcester, United States | Posted on 08/05/2026 Reeves Lavallee PC specializes in family law, real estate transactions, landlord/tenant law, and probate law. With decades of experience, we provide premium legal services with a personal touch in Worcester County, Massachusetts. Job Description Description Reeves Lavallee, P.C. is growing, and we're looking for a seasoned attorney ready to own meaningful, high-stakes work. This role is built for a confident litigator who is at home in the courtroom, exercises sound judgment under pressure, and values both independence and structure. You will manage cases from the first strategy session through resolution, including trial when the matter calls for it. Our model gives attorneys clear systems, defined workflows, and a steady flow of qualified matters, so your energy goes toward practicing law at a high level rather than chasing or managing intake. If you want to practice with confidence, operate with real independence, and deliver strong outcomes inside a well-run system, this is the role. What You'll Find Here A process-driven environment that cuts friction and chaos. Reliable case flow backed by a dedicated intake system. Freedom to focus on legal work, not administrative load. A culture that rewards professionalism, clarity, and results. About Reeves Lavallee PC Reeves Lavallee, P.C. is a Worcester-based family law and civil litigation firm known for high standards, professional excellence, and complete dedication to client care. Our core values are STEWARD: S tewardship and Integrity — Always do the right thing, even when no one is watching. Act with sound judgment, professionalism, and ethical responsibility in all matters entrusted to you. T ransparency and Honesty — Take ownership of mistakes, communicate truthfully, learn from experience, and apply improvements moving forward. E xcellence with Compassion — Approach every task with care, patience, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Treat colleagues and clients with respect while striving for high-quality outcomes. W ork with Focus — Give full attention to the task at hand and follow it through to completion. Minimize distractions and manage responsibilities efficiently and responsibly. A ccountability and Responsibility — Be accountable to clients, colleagues, and yourself. Own your actions, correct errors promptly, and move forward constructively. R eliability and Adherence to Deadlines — Meeting deadlines and honoring commitments are critical to team success. D iligence in a Drama-Free Environment — Maintain a professional, respectful workplace. Avoid gossip, elevate concerns appropriately, and contribute positively to team culture and morale. We guarantee clients consistent communication, timely updates, and reliable support throughout their legal matter. Our team members are expected to uphold these values daily and contribute to a professional environment where excellence, responsibility, and respect define the culture. Requirements The sections below are organized the same way we structure attorney performance reviews at this firm — what you'll be doing here is exactly what you'll be measured on. Legal Knowledge and Proficiency Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school; active license and good standing with the Massachusetts Bar. Minimum of five years of substantive experience in Family Law and/or Civil Litigation. Handle divorce, custody, child support, alimony, contempt, modification, restraining orders, and removal matters. Address real estate issues arising in divorce, including equity division, partition, and escrow disputes — this firm treats family law and real estate law as one connected practice, not a separate specialty. Client Interaction and Advocacy Appear in Probate & Family Court and District or Superior Court as required. Demonstrated courtroom presence and strong litigation skills; proven ability to remain composed and effective under pressure in high-conflict, emotionally charged matters. Conduct discovery, take depositions, and negotiate settlements on your clients' behalf. Advise clients strategically and communicate legal options and strategy clearly, with professionalism and empathy. Case Management and Organization Independently manage a full caseload of family law and/or civil litigation matters with precision and accountability. Ability to carry a full docket without close supervision, meeting every procedural deadline. Document Drafting and Review Draft and argue motions, evidentiary hearings, and trials. Prepare pleadings, motions, agreements, and judgments with precision and efficiency. Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills Develop effective litigation plans and case strategy tailored to each matter. Strong negotiation skills and sound judgment when a matter's path is not obvious. Professionalism and Ethical Conduct Steady, ethical judgment in high-stakes, emotionally charged matters. Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and professional conduct in every client matter. Team Collaboration and Leadership Work in coordination with paralegals and support staff to maintain organized, timely case progression. Room to mentor newer attorneys and paralegals as your caseload and tenure here grow. Communication Skills Clear, persuasive, and efficient communication with clients, courts, and colleagues, in both writing and speech. Familiarity with legal research software (Westlaw, Lexis, or both). Adaptability and Continuous Learning Comfortable operating inside a process-driven environment with clear systems and defined workflows. Active member of your local bar association, with an ongoing commitment to continuing legal education. Business Development Representing the firm well in the community is valued — but this role is intake-supported. You will not be expected to build your own book of business; a dedicated intake system keeps a steady, qualified caseload coming to you. Benefits (standard package; benefits are managed online by the employee) Health coverage: Starts on the first of the month following your hire date. 401(k): 3.5% employer match, 1-year vesting. Medical, Dental, Vision: Fully employer-paid for Aetna D1, MetLife Vision PPO+, and Aetna DMO. Enhanced options available at employee's cost. Coverage available for Employee +1, Employee + Children, or Family (employee-paid). Life Insurance & AD&D: Employer-paid, equal to 1x annual salary. HSA/FSA: Available. Supplemental Life & Disability Insurance: Employee-paid. Paid Holidays: 11 paid holidays per year (per Worcester court holiday schedule). Vacation: Years 1–2: one week prorated, available after 90 days. Year 3+: two weeks annually. Up to 10 days rollover allowed. #J-18808-Ljbffr Reeves Lavallee PC
