Patient Registrar
The Patient Registrar plays a key role in managing front desk operations and ensuring a smooth check-in process for patients. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to handle a steady flow of individuals while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome patients upon arrival and guide them through intake procedures
- Manage patient flow and direct individuals to appropriate service areas
- Gather and verify personal and insurance information
- Assist with required documentation, including forms related to screenings
- Enter and maintain accurate data in electronic health record systems
- Collaborate with staff to ensure efficient and timely patient processing
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in medical front desk or patient registration preferred
- Strong background in customer service, ideally in a fast-paced setting
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems (EPIC experience is a plus)
- Ability to multitask and remain organized under high patient volume
- Professional communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
