Staff Accountant

Staff AccountantKalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Staff Accountant. In this role, you will perform financial information processing, reporting and analysis of the company by performing the following duties personally or in conjunction with other accounting staff.As part of our leadership team, you'll embody our Promise to Lead with Love —guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences.This is an hourly wage roleKey ResponsibilitiesSupport finance team members in management of Accounting Office functionsReconcile problems by researching discrepancies and making appropriate corrections.Assist with Accounts Payable & PayrollAssist with preparation of monthly state and local Sales and Use Tax returns.Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned by the Controller.What We're Looking ForA two-year college degree (accounting preferred) or equivalent education/experience.Three to five years of employment in a related position (Finance/Accounting) with this company or other organization(s).
