Nurse Practitioner, Neonatology in FL

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our Neonatology team in sunny Florida. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide advanced nursing care to critically ill newborns and infants in our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

Responsibilities:

1. Conducting comprehensive physical assessments on newborns and infants.
2. Developing and implementing individualized care plans.
3. Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests.
4. Performing procedures such as intubations and lumbar punctures.
5. Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
6. Providing education and support to families.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Nursing (or equivalent).
• Current valid Nurse Practitioner license in Florida (or willing to get)
• Certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP-BC).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Neonatology.
• BLS and PALS certifications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
