Principal Financial Analyst - Cardiac Diagnostics & Services

Principal Financial Analyst supporting the Cardiac Diagnostics & Services business at Medtronic. The role provides financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and strategic analysis to marketing and leadership teams in Mounds View, Minnesota.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Marketing, Strategy, and Innovation leadership to deliver financial analysis and decision support
- Lead financial planning, forecasting, annual operating plans, and integrated business planning activities
- Execute month-end and quarter-end close activities including reporting and variance analysis
- Develop financial models to evaluate business performance, margins, and strategic investments
- Analyze P&L results, identify risks and opportunities, and provide performance improvement recommendations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 7+ years finance/accounting experience, or advanced degree with 5+ years
- Proficiency in financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
- Ability to develop financial models and translate data into actionable business insights
- Experience partnering with business leaders on strategic and operational decisions
- MBA or CPA designation preferred
- Experience with SAP, OneStream, Power BI, or similar financial systems preferred
