As the Quality Assurance Director, you will play a key leadership role in driving quality excellence, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across manufacturing operations. Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:45 PM What You'll Do Lead and develop a team of Quality Engineers and Quality Technicians. Establish and execute the organization's quality strategy in alignment with business and regulatory objectives. Oversee the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, FAA, and applicable regulatory requirements. Manage internal, external, and certification audits, serving as the primary quality representative during audit activities. Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to improve quality, efficiency, and operational performance. Lead corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes, root cause analysis, and quality performance metrics. Partner with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and operations to resolve quality issues and improve processes. Develop and oversee supplier quality programs and performance. Analyze quality data and recommend process, equipment, and product improvements. Build strong relationships with customers and suppliers regarding quality requirements, corrective actions, first article inspections, and performance trends. Represent the Quality function during leadership reviews and strategic business initiatives. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred). Equivalent manufacturing leadership experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. 5–10 years of progressive quality leadership experience in electronics manufacturing. Experience with printed circuit board assembly (PCBA), surface mount technology (SMT), and electro‑mechanical manufacturing. Strong working knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, quality systems, and regulatory compliance. Experience leading internal and external audits. Lean Six Sigma experience (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred). Demonstrated success leading teams, developing talent, and driving a culture of continuous improvement. Expertise in root cause analysis, corrective actions, and quality planning. Strong communication, problem‑solving, and cross‑functional leadership skills. ERP experience (Epicor preferred).
