Accounting Manager

Job Title: Accounting Manager Job Type: Full-time Salary Range: $75-85k+ doe + bonus Job Summary The Accounting Manager is a critical role, accountable for the financial integrity, technical accuracy, and strategic compliance of a large manufacturing business unit within Celestica. Our client is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting operations while partnering closely with executive leadership to improve financial processes, strengthen internal controls and maintain compliance with corporate policies. The Accounting Manager is primarily responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP standards and maintaining compliance with statutory requirements. Key Responsibilities Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts. Review variances for income statement accounts and analyze account balances. Provide accounting support to the department, maintaining accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll duties. Communicate with other departments on a daily basis regarding accounting matters. Collaborate cross-functionally with key stakeholders to implement process improvements. Qualifications Extensive experience in accounting management, preferably within a manufacturing or large corporate environment. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements. Proficiency in reconciling financial statements and performing detailed variance analysis. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage multiple priorities.
