Take ownership of custom equipment projects from the initial engineering handoff through installation and customer acceptance. An established manufacturer of industrial processing equipment is expanding its engineering team and seeking a Project Engineer who enjoys connecting customers, engineering, and the shop floor to bring complex machinery projects to life.

What You’ll Do

• Turn customer requirements into technical scopes, equipment layouts, schedules, and project execution plans.
• Manage multiple projects while tracking budgets, materials, milestones, and open issues.
• Coordinate engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, quality, sales, and field service to keep projects moving.
• Serve as the primary contact for project updates, customer drawing approvals, and changes.
• Coordinate equipment testing, inspections, and documentation during fabrication.
• Support installation, startup, and commissioning at customer facilities, traveling as needed.
• Identify project risks early and help improve project processes.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in project engineering, applications engineering, sales engineering, or capital equipment manufacturing.
• AutoCAD proficiency and the ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Experience managing project schedules, budgets, and competing priorities.
• Strong communication skills and experience coordinating with customers and manufacturing teams.
• Willingness to travel for customer meetings, installations, and commissioning.
• Custom machinery, food-processing equipment, industrial systems, or equipment commissioning experience is a plus.
