Job Description
We are looking for a Front Desk Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact in our office. Front Desk responsibilities include checking in patients, verifying insurance eligibility, collecting payments, and answering phones. If you have a knack for customer service, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will help create a pleasant and memorable visit for our patients. Part time position Monday and Wednesday 8:45 am to 6:00pm, Friday 8:45-5:00pm.
Responsibilities
- Perform all check-in and check-out tasks
- Manage phones and make appointments
- Verify insurance eligibility
- Collect payments
- Provide information regarding lab orders and referrals
- Scan documents into patient charts
- Prepare referrals and check logs.
Skills
- Work experience in medical office preferred
- Customer service skills and a positive attitude
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) required
