Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30 | Every other weekend rotation and some holidays | 4x12 and Fri–Sun block schedules also considered

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Neuro ICU setting, managing complex neurological and neurosurgical cases
• Work with both ICU and IMC patient populations as needed
• Float to other units as needed based on staffing requirements
• Utilize Epic EMR for accurate and timely documentation of patient care
• Monitor and interpret telemetry, including identification of lethal rhythms and heart block patterns

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required – American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Minimum two years of acute care inpatient RN experience within the last three years in the specialty
• ICU experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must pass a telemetry exam prior to start (adult and pediatric components; passing score of 80% or higher with strict criteria for lethal rhythm identification); up to three attempts permitted under compliance guidelines
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Neurosurgery experience preferred
• Experience working with IMC-level patients in addition to ICU
• Familiarity with cardiac rhythm interpretation and telemetry monitoring
