We’re looking for a motivated, compassionate Medical Assistant (MA) Float to join our growing team!

This position supports both our Junction City and Manhattan clinic locations and requires the ability to travel between sites.

Schedule & Perks

• Full-time, Monday–Friday


• Clinics close at 2 PM every Friday


• Up to 200 hours (5 weeks) PTO annually

Key Responsibilities

• Room patients, take vitals, and update medical histories


• Assist providers with exams, procedures, and treatments


• Perform point-of-care testing and specimen collection


• Administer injections and medications as ordered


• Triage patient calls (urgent vs. non-urgent needs)


• Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, and follow-ups


• Communicate with pharmacies for prescriptions and refills


• Document accurately in the EHR/EMR (eClinicalWorks)


• Educate patients on care plans and next steps


• Travel between Konza clinic locations.

Requirements

• Completion of a Medical Assistant program or relevant experience


• Current vaccinations per ACIP guidelines


• Ability to travel between Konza clinics.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA)


• Experience in primary care, family practice, or FQHC


• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
