At Rockwell Labs we develop, formulate, package, and market green/natural pest control and cleaning products for professional exterminators as well as consumers nationwide. Due to our sustained growth, we have a position for a Procurement Specialist to join our Supply Chain Team. The position reports to the Director of Product Management and Supply Chain and features excellent potential to grow with a great company.

Routine Responsibilities Include:

• Researching suppliers, obtaining quotes and negotiating pricing and terms.

• Executing Purchase Orders based upon system generated requirements and those communicated by team associates.

• Maintaining PO details including information from suppliers on confirmation, quantity, price, and delivery.

• Tracking the status of open purchase orders.

• Arranging shipment of incoming purchase orders.

• Working within the ERP system to determine material requirements and maintain vendor and item related areas.

• Proactively communicating supply problems that could affect production.

• Internal communication with warehouse, inventory, planning and purchasing co-workers.

• Understanding space and time constraints of the warehouse.

• Other purchasing and material planning related duties that arise.

The Successful Candidate Will:

• Have a procurement background that includes understanding demand, obtaining quotes, negotiating, issuing purchase orders, receiving/resolving confirmations.

• Be comfortable using ERP software.

• Have excellent communication skills internally and with suppliers and work well with others.

• Possess excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

• Have strong attention to detail.

• Have the ability and desire to grow with a great company.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience in purchasing, preferably in manufacturing or distribution. A Bachelor’s degree in business/management or related field is preferred. APICS certification is a plus.
