Buyer Full-time | PRD | Location – Olathe, KS, 66022 Purchase products for an assigned commodity group with guidance from senior team members and management. Learn and apply understanding of supply chain concepts and negotiation skills to identify cost savings and ensure fiscal benefit to TVH. YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIESS Supplier management: registration, evaluating opportunities, create & manage contracts, analyze and expand supplier portfolio and problem solving Purchase/PRD and procurement: search sellable items, compare sources, create product relations, BOMs negotiate, RFQ, create purchase requisitions and sample orders, maintain orders, reschedule, shipping and receiving Provide product and category insights to category manager Quality management: analyzing results of the samples and providing technical support (e.g. to sales) Maintain and update technical information May also include: role of global supplier/product responsible HOW TO SUCCEED / YOUR PROFILE We’re looking for someone who can come up with simple solutions to complex problems.
