Checkout Team Associate

Shift Schedule Shift may start between 8:00 am – 11:00 am or 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm. Role Summary Front‑end checkout associates run our registers. They greet customers with a smile, ring up items, process payments, and keep a positive attitude. They stand for long periods of time and may need to juggle several tasks at once while maintaining a clean and well‑organized area. What You’ll Do You play a major role in how customers feel when they leave the store. You may be the first, last, or sole associate a customer interacts with. You help customers by scanning items, explaining prices, bagging items, counting cash back, and keeping the store clean. The pace can be intense, especially in the evenings, weekends, and holiday seasons. What You’ll Bring Cashier Smile, greet, and thank customers with a positive attitude Stand for long periods while checking out customers quickly and accurately Keep your area clean and presentable Answer customer questions and help them with their needs Assist associates across the store as needed Cart and Janitorial Maintain a great first and last impression for customers Gather carts from the parking lot Operate equipment to move carts into the store Clean restrooms, salesfloor, and parking lot as needed Maintain a positive attitude in all weather conditions Additional Compensation Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
