Position Summary You will manage your own caseload from inception to conclusion, handling all aspects of litigation. Responsibilities include: Drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests. Preparing for and attending depositions, hearings, and trials. Collaborating with clients, experts, and other attorneys to develop case strategies. Providing regular updates and written reports to clients. Conducting comprehensive legal research and preparing memoranda. Working alongside senior attorneys to ensure effective and efficient case management. Key Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA‑accredited law school. Admission to the Connecticut State Bar or eligibility via adequate UBE score. 3–8 years of litigation experience (insurance defense experience preferred). Clerkship experience considered a plus. Proficiency in drafting and arguing dispositive motions. Strong legal research, discovery, and advocacy skills. Experience participating in mediations, arbitrations, trials, and hearings. High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and effective communication.
