Starting Pay: $23.12/hour
180-Day Top-Out Rate: $24.51/hour

Schedule:

• Monday through Thursday: 6:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
• Friday: 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
• Occasional overtime may be required

What You'll Do

As a member of our Touring Coach Production team, you'll help assemble, install, and finish components that go into Airstream recreational vehicles.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Prepare and install furniture, wall panels, subassemblies, and final assemblies with a strong focus on quality and craftsmanship .
• Position and install hardware and components to ensure proper fit, function, and operation.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Inspect materials and completed work for defects, irregularities, or workmanship concerns.
• Help ensure completed assemblies meet our quality expectations before moving to the next stage of production.
• Repair parts or assemblies when needed during the installation process.
• Follow detailed written and verbal assembly instructions.
• Read and work from engineering drawings and other production documentation.
• Fabricate jigs or fixtures when needed to support the assembly process.
• Work collaboratively with other members of the production team and assist in other areas when needed.

What We're Looking For

You don't have to come from the RV industry to bring valuable skills to our team.

Experience in manufacturing, automotive, assembly, electrical, wiring, construction, or other hands-on trades is preferred and can help you succeed in this role.

Successful candidates should be able to:

• Work safely with hand and power tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, drills, screw guns, pneumatic staplers, rivet guns, jigsaws, metal shears, files, and similar equipment.
• Read and understand safety rules, engineering drawings, warning labels, and work instructions.
• Accurately read a tape measure and level.
• Perform basic math.
• Follow instructions while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
• Recognize quality issues and take pride in producing high-quality work.
• Work effectively as part of a production team.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience .
• Previous hands-on production, automotive, electrical, wiring, assembly, or manufacturing experience is preferred.

Physical Requirements

This is an active, hands-on manufacturing position. Employees must be able to:

• Lift up to 35 lbs. regularly and 50 lbs. occasionally .
• Perform the physical activities necessary to assemble and install components in recreational vehicles.
• Successfully complete a physical capability evaluation.

Safety & Work Environment

Safety is an important part of working in our production environment. Employees are expected to follow established safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment.

Required PPE may include:

• Safety glasses with side shields
• Approved hearing protection
• Safety-toed footwear
• Cut-resistant or chemical-resistant gloves
• Dust masks or respirators
• Protective clothing or face shields, depending on the task

The position is primarily performed indoors in a manufacturing environment. Employees may experience periods of elevated noise and may occasionally work around dust, fumes, adhesives, coatings, cleaners, sharp materials, power tools, and other typical manufacturing conditions.
