A confidential Texas law firm in the North Dallas area is open to speaking with commercial litigation attorneys who want a hands-on practice handling contract and business disputes. This is a 100 percent on-site opportunity in Collin County for an attorney with 1 to 10 years of experience, with the ability to work on both plaintiff-side and defense matters.

THE ROLE

• Manage and support commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes and related business claims

• Draft pleadings, written discovery, and substantive motions

• Take and defend depositions, as experience level permits

• Prepare for and attend hearings, mediations, and trial settings

• Communicate directly with clients and help drive litigation strategy

• Maintain strong organization and ownership of deadlines and case management

LOCATION, SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION

Location:

Collin County (North Dallas area), Texas

Schedule:

On-site, in office 5 days per week

Compensation:

Base salary: $130,000

REQUIREMENTS

• 1 to 10 years of relevant commercial litigation experience (plaintiff-side, defense-side, or a mix)

• Active Texas bar admission in good standing

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school

• Strong legal writing and research skills, including motion practice

• Professional client communication skills and sound judgment

• Ability to work fully on-site in Collin County (commuting is acceptable, but the role is not remote)

PREFERRED BACKGROUND

• For attorneys with 5 or more years of experience, solid trial experience is strongly preferred

• For more senior candidates, some portable business is highly desirable

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
