Staff Accountant
Location: Bethesda
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: $65k to $74k
A growing financial services organization is seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to join their team.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
Journal entries, reconciliations, financial reports.
Balance sheet accounts, fixed assets, prepaid expenses, and other accounting activities.
Support budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, audits, and regulatory examinations.
Process improvements and internal controls
Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
1-3 years of full cycle accounting experience
Strong financial analysis and reconciliation skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and accounting systems.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
