You will work closely with internal team members establishing and maintaining relationships with internal business customers and assigned suppliers. This role is essential in the delivery of key cost, risk, and performance management-related efforts for third-party relationships, in addition to supporting the identification of strategic opportunities for growth and/or greater return on investment. Come be a part of something special where you work with teams who appreciate your contributions and sharing your thoughts and ideas is encouraged.Key responsibilities include:Teamwork & Strategic Support: Support the creation and execution of strategic and innovative solutions to support internal customers that can identify value-generating opportunities (e.g. savings, efficiencies, or revenue growth).Negotiation: Ability to negotiate basic contracts for a broad range of products and services for Capital OneRelationship Management: Serve as a point of contact for third parties and manage an effective governance between Capital One and assigned third parties.Collaboration: Ability to partner with business unit(s) and internal risk group(s) to ensure third party relationships are compliant with all relevant policies and procedures.Risk Management: Monitor and ensure successful delivery against third party contractual obligationsProcess Management: Accountable for policy requirements for all managed third-party relationships. Plan and lead periodic reviews and assessments of supplier relationships.Supplier Sourcing: Maintain awareness of external marketplace as it relates to your suppliers and perform basic sourcing activities where appropriateNote: Limited travel may be required.Basic Qualifications:High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent CertificationAt least 3 years of experience in Relationship Management, Supplier Management, Procurement, Project Management, Process Management, or a combination of thesePreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or military experienceAt least 4 years of experience in Procurement, Sourcing, Operations Management, or Risk ManagementAt this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting.
