Marketing Field Event Coordinator Location: Blackwood, NJ, US Employment Type: Full Time Requisition ID: 1007 | Posted: 30+ days ago Salary Range: $45,000.00 To $55,000.00 Annually Effective Date: March 2024 Reports To: Sales & Business Development Manager Department: Office Summary Manage and execute field event marketing initiatives with a team to exceed booked, issued, and sales targets through event participation, sponsorship, partnerships, community outreach, related programs, and outside networking. Hire, train, develop a marketing team, build brand awareness, and generate sales leads in the local market. Duties and Responsibilities Develop and drive marketing initiatives to generate sales leads for sales representatives to follow up. Recruit, hire, train, and develop an event marketing team and create accountability through established goals and KPIs. Identify, schedule, and plan for the team of marketers in assigned territories and events. Responsible for budgeting and staffing within affiliates. Responsible for creating, ordering, and budgeting for all collateral inventory. Collaborate with the Sales Manager and their team to develop goals, brainstorm events, and analyze data from events. Collaborate with local Operations and Installation Managers to grow brand presence within the local market. Develop timelines, organizational plans, and internal communications for cohesiveness and transparency across the organization. Track and report metrics to evaluate performance and ROI of partnerships and events. Meet and exceed lead/sales quotas by executing field event coordination, scheduling/managing team, and achieving top-tier weekly event KPIs. Execute and manage onsite lead generation activities weekly in event participation. Attend home shows, fairs, festivals, events, etc., educating customers and scheduling appointments. Develop localized partnerships to allow onsite staffed display for lead generation and sales activity. Optimize and leverage potential localized community entities with regional managers to create and implement event-related sponsorship programs with onsite exhibitor presence. Manage event tools, resources, and materials for event coordination, set-up, tear-down, and inventory. Perform indoor work in a climate-controlled environment and outdoor work in varying temperatures and climates. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager. Qualifications High School diploma or GED. 2+ years of experience in successful lead generation and management positions in direct-to-consumer industries. Strong recruiting and training skills. Experience with budgeting and planning. Proven success in lead generation. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively and foster positive relationships across all levels. Self‑starter with ability to manage and develop others in fast‑paced environments. Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously. Strong planning and organizational skills, including attention to detail. Knowledge of current best practices and new strategies for field marketing. Proficiency working with CRMs, desired market Sharpe. Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation to transport marketing materials and displays to/from scheduled events. Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for a visa (e.g., H1B). Desired Skills Experience in lead generation for residential home improvement industry. Leadership or supervisory experience in event marketing, retail, construction field, or home improvement industry.
