CNC MachinistJoin a dynamic team as a CNC Machinist where you will play a crucial role in operating and setting up CNC machines, including CNC Mills (HAAS VF4), CNC Lathes (Okuma, ProtoTRAK), and Manual Bridgeport machines. This position is focused on hands-on setup and operation, involving light program edits, tooling adjustments, and quality inspection.ResponsibilitiesOperate CNC Mills, CNC Lathes, and Manual Bridgeport machines.Perform tool changes, offsets, and adjust machine feeds, speeds, and tooling.Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T.Conduct light program edits and understand G & M code.Support machine setup and prove-outs.Run short production batches with frequent changeovers.Perform in-process and final inspections using calipers and micrometers.Load/unload parts and manage multiple machines as needed.Troubleshoot machining or quality issues.Work closely with team members to maintain production flow.Essential Skills3+ years of CNC machining experience.Ability to work on both mills and lathes.Basic understanding of G & M code.Strong blueprint reading skills, GD&T understanding preferred.Experience using precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers.Ability to work in a job shop/short-run style environment.Comfortable running multiple machines and handling changeovers.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with CNC setup including offsets, tool changes, and feed & speed adjustments.Experience with HAAS mills, Okuma lathes, ProtoTRAK machines, and Manual Bridgeport equipment.Ability to edit programs at the machine without requiring full programming.Any CAM programming experience such as Mastercam or Fusion.Experience machining plastics.Background in precision or custom manufacturing.Experience in low-volume/high-mix environments.Exposure to continuous improvement or lean manufacturing.As a global leader in designing and manufacturing cutting-edge thermal and power conversion equipment, our company offers a supportive and collaborative work environment.
