2nd Shift CNC Operator

Willoughby Western Lake County Chamber of Commerce Job Summary Our client in Mentor, Ohio is seeking experienced CNC Operators for the 2nd shift. The ideal candidates will have experience operating CNC machinery in a precision manufacturing environment and be comfortable working independently while maintaining quality and production standards. Responsibilities Operate CNC machines safely and efficiently during the 2nd shift. Load and unload raw materials and finished components. Monitor machine cycles and production processes. Perform basic machine adjustments and tool changes as needed. Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring equipment. Read and follow blueprints, work instructions, and production specifications. Identify quality issues and make appropriate adjustments or notify the setup technician. Maintain accurate production and inspection records. Keep machines and work areas clean and organized. Follow all company safety and quality procedures. Qualifications Previous CNC machine operating experience preferred. Experience with CNC lathes, mills, or Swiss-type machines is a plus. Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings. Experience using precision measuring instruments. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills. Reliable attendance and ability to work 2nd shift. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
