About Role

The Solution Architect, Customer Implementation is responsible for the technical and consultative design of customer implementations on Veryon Tracking+ for a global customer base.

This role translates customer operational requirements into effective, scalable solutions by ensuring customer data is accurately migrated and normalized, modules are configured appropriately, and implementation plans are aligned with scope and budget.

The Solution Architect serves as a hands-on technical resource and trusted advisor to customers, internal teams, and global business stakeholders. The role partners closely with Engineering, Product, Onboarding, Data, and Professional Services teams to establish consistent implementation standards while supporting complex customer implementations.

This position also contributes to the development of implementation templates, SOPs, and best practices used across the broader Professional Services organization.

Job Duties

Customer Solution Design

• Advise customers directly throughout implementation, translating operational requirements into effective Tracking+ solutions .
• Guide customers toward proven, standard functionality and minimize unnecessary customization.
• Serve as a trusted advisor by consulting with customers, providing recommendations, and appropriately challenging requests when necessary.

Change Management and Adoption

• Drive customer change management and adoption throughout implementation.
• Build stakeholder buy in and identify and address resistance to new processes and ways of working.
• Ensure solutions are effectively adopted and utilized, not simply deployed.

Data Architecture and Migration

• Own the technical accuracy of customer data enrollment into Tracking+ .
• Perform data normalization, data manipulation, and hands-on SQL work against relational databases.
• Support complex customer data migrations from competing aviation maintenance platforms, including CAMP, Traxxall, Ramco, or similar systems .
• Ensure data is accurately mapped, transformed, validated, and prepared for successful implementation.

SOP and Template Ownership

• Partner with Engineering and Product technical experts to develop, maintain, and improve standard implementation templates and SOPs.
• Help define implementation standards and best practices for the broader Professional Services organization.
• Identify opportunities to improve implementation consistency, scalability, and efficiency.

Project and Program Management

• Build and maintain detailed project plans in partnership with project management teams.
• Manage implementation scope and budget while supporting successful project completion.
• Coordinate customers and internal resources to maintain project momentum and delivery timelines.
• Manage a multi project schedule, including travel and implementation logistics, with support from internal teams.

Global Stakeholder Management

• Work directly with global customers and business stakeholders throughout implementation.
• Maintain alignment with global leadership, including US based leadership, on priorities, escalations, and delivery standards.
• Operate effectively across international time zones and customer environments.

Team Enablement and Coaching

• Regularly coach Data Analysts and Implementation Analysts on implementation practices and technical considerations.
• Delegate standard data entry and implementation activities to focus on higher complexity solution design and technical work.
• Train junior team members on the reasoning behind advanced implementation decisions and best practices.

AI Driven Efficiency

• Use AI tools and automation to streamline customer communications, accelerate data normalization, and reduce repetitive work.
• Identify opportunities to incorporate AI into personal and team workflows to improve implementation efficiency and scalability.

Process Documentation

• Document non standard customer processes, configurations, and workarounds clearly for future use.
• Log product bugs and feature requests to provide Product and Engineering teams with actionable feedback from customer implementations.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience in aviation maintenance operations is required , with the ability to understand and communicate effectively with aviation maintenance customers from day one.
• Strong hands on experience with SQL , data normalization, and data manipulation within relational databases.
• Proven experience enrolling or migrating customer data into a software platform, preferably involving aviation maintenance or MRO systems .
• Experience working with data migrations from platforms such as CAMP, Traxxall, Ramco, or similar aviation maintenance software .
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel , including formulas, advanced data parsing, and large dataset management.
• Experience working with global enterprise customers and business stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to drive customer adoption, stakeholder buy in, and organizational change.
• Strong consulting skills, including the ability to manage customer expectations, maintain project scope, and recommend standard solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated customer facing experience.
• Ability to work effectively with global teams and maintain flexibility across international working hours.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with Project Management, Data, Engineering, Product, and Professional Services teams.

Preferred Skills: 

• Experience with Tracking+, aviation maintenance software, MRO, or CAMO environments .
• Familiarity with aviation maintenance concepts including AMP, task cards, AD/SB, LLP/HT tracking, and MSN structures .
• Working knowledge of data mapping, systems integration, and data migration methodologies .
• Basic scripting or automation experience using Python, VBA, or similar technologies .
• Practical, daily experience using AI tools for customer communication, data normalization, process automation, and productivity improvements.
• Project management experience, including developing project plans, managing scope and timelines, and coordinating cross functional resources.
• Experience developing implementation SOPs, templates, standards, and process documentation .
• Experience coaching or mentoring junior implementation or data team members.
• Strong professional services mindset with the ability to balance customer relationships, technical requirements, project constraints, and business outcomes.
