Director, Strategic Accounts
The Director, Strategic Accounts is primarily responsible for developing and executing strategies to grow the DSO business and team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement tactics to broaden company awareness and revenue with DSO accounts
- Communicate with sales management and sales team as it relates to identifying and generating successful outcomes with DSO's
- Monitor, track and communicate DSO results to management
- Manage Strategic Accounts team while actively working with the team to increase revenue while maintaining existing business
- Work with the Regional Managers and Territory Managers to acquire new business by expanding implant, prosthetic, digital, and biologic revenue with DSO's in the assigned territory
- Lead and train sales team and clinicians to support BioHorizons DSO business segments
- Completes required reports timely and assures compliance with all customer interfaces
- Plans and executes a monthly travel and call pattern and budget to include weekly and monthly reporting
- Plans purpose and outcomes for meaningful business interface with all customer types
- Attends all major conventions and/or meetings that apply to and are within the specific area of responsibility
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required
Qualifications
- Experience in medical device marketing
- Prior experience in dentistry in sales and/or marketing will be viewed as a plus
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills
- Understand, interpret and act on financial information that contributes to business profitability
- Ability to plan and manage complex and successful projects; understand available resources, develop a timeline, budget and assign areas of responsibility
- Lead team to achieve company goals and solve complex business issues in creative and effective ways
- Outstanding planning and organizational skills and techniques
- Strong negotiating skills and ability to effectively manage internal and external relationships
- Ability to influence, builds relationships, understand organizational complexities, manage conflict, and navigate politics
- Broad range of professional and managerial skills with a full understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures
- Outstanding in multiple technical skills
- Must be able to travel overnight
- Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record and current automobile insurance required
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree required
- Master's Degree preferred
- Previous dental sales experience preferred
- 7+ years professional environment
