Position Overview
Gecko Hospitality is conducting a confidential executive search for a dynamic Senior Director of Sales to lead revenue generation efforts for one of Washington, DC's premier upscale entertainment and event destinations. This leader will oversee event sales for corporate events, weddings, social celebrations and private functions while leading a high-performing sales team.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop Event Sales Managers; generate and close new business; maintain an active book of business; drive prospecting and networking; analyze sales performance; coach team members; partner with operations; and implement revenue growth strategies.
Ideal Candidate Background
Proven success in hospitality, entertainment, hotel, restaurant, or event venue sales. Experience with high-volume revenue goals of $1M+ annually. Strong corporate event sales background preferred. Hands-on leadership style with coaching, accountability, and outbound prospecting expertise.
