We are looking to hire a National Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team based out of Waterford, Michigan. This position would entail travel throughout the Midwest for Monarch helping out at our apartment communities in several states. 75% travel is to be expected nationwide. No on call 2 weeks on, 1 week off schedule 17 weeks total off a year $50.00 additional per day/per diem for every overnight spent working/traveling Excellent overtime potential! Up to 30 hours per pay period! No wear and tear on your vehicle! We provide the transportation and gas!

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience required:

• HVAC, EPA or CPO certification preferred
• 3+ years' experience in apartment maintenance or facilities maintenance
• Dry walling, including painting and carpentry
• Plumbing, including sweating copper pipe
• Electrical, including outlets, switches, and light fixtures

Compensation and Benefits Available:

• Pay $22.00 to $24.00 hour
• $50/per diem/tax free every night while traveling for additional expenses

A maintenance skills assessment is administered during the interview process for this position. This role requires pre-employment screenings, including a criminal background check and a drug screening. Valid driver's license required.
