Maintenance Tech-2nd Shift 2:30pm-11:00pm

SUMMARY

The Maintenance Technician I is responsible for repairing and maintaining assets; with the purpose of improving reliability and life cycle costs. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to work diligently, show strong technical and communication skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure immediate maintenance intervention to solve any maintenance issues in the relevant field and follow up actions necessary.
• Maintain landscaping and gardening.
• Ensure adherence to safety rules and standards and maintain good housekeeping.
• Basic experience on plumbing.
• Basic experience in irrigation systems.
• Employee should demonstrate creativity, be energetic and present a positive company image.
• Knowledge of painting, drywall, ceramic tile.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High School or technical diploma required
• 5 plus years' experience in the distribution warehouse.
• Experience driving forklift or any other power industrial truck.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to bend, twist, stoop, reach, lift materials up to 35 lbs., and move materials up to 600 lbs. using a pallet jack. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.
