Machine Operator 2nd Shift (3:00 PM11:00 PM)
Pay: $20.00/hr Location: Hendersonville, NC
Are you someone who takes pride in precision, enjoys working with your hands, and likes seeing the results of a job well done? We're looking for a reliable Machine Operator to join a fast-paced, safety-focused manufacturing team!
What You'll Do:
- Operate wire-drawing machines to produce wire with accurate size, smooth finish, and proper strength
- Read and follow work instructions, set up machinery, and select the right materials for each job
- Perform quality checks, spool and tag finished products, and prepare them for shipping
- Use micrometers, small hand tools, and wire welders for fuse/butt welding
- Safely operate hoists, pulleys, and guides to move materials
- Enter production data into the system accurately
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. as needed
- Be flexible for overtime when production is busy
What We're Looking For:
- Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and mechanical know-how
- Ability to read instructions and use measurement tools
- Dependable, safety-minded, and ready to be part of a great team
