Data Quality Solution Architect and Developer

Architect and application development consultant who will contribute to the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Collibra Data Quality & Observability application as a member of an agile scrum team. This is an opportunity to work within a strong development team and help to implement challenging new products in the financial space using cutting-edge technology. Extensive working knowledge and expertise on enterprise application Data Quality tool installation, administration, configuration, and customization.

Should have worked on Data Quality tools such as Collibra Data Quality & Observability, Informatica, IBM, etc.

Thorough understanding of connecting to and scanning databases and data lakes and integrations with RDBMS, AWS, Databricks, Snowflake, (Java/REST) APIs, etc.

Familiar with CI/CD version control practices and tools (Jenkins, Maven, Github).

Experience with Microservices - API/Event Driven Architecture/Development.

Ability to review technology documents and work with external vendor and internal partners.

Communicating pertinent information on upgrades and major releases.

Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle for Iterative, Agile, and traditional approaches.

Preferable to computer science degree or related field.

At least 3 years of IT experience with Collibra and Collibra Data Quality.

Experience implementing Collibra workflow design and implementation.

Experience working on Collibra Data Quality platform.

Experience implementing custom integration leveraging Collibra APIs.

3+ years hands on experience with Collibra Data Quality configuration and Collibra integration.

Critical report data lineage and data quality management.

What are the working hours, time zone?

8-4PM EST. This is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite most weeks.

What is the duration of this contract and is there a chance it will be extended?

6-month contract term, with goal to convert to Employee after 6-month contract term or to extend for additional 6 months.

What training will be provided for this contractor and what are first day expectations?

Contractor will obtain knowledge transfer for existing team members as they join an active project team and should bring Collibra expertise to begin immediately working to analyze, design implement Collibra platform requirements, workflows, etc.

What is the day to day of the person going to look like? Please be specific.

Facilitate requirements sessions with senior data stewards to development business requirement for Collibra Platform.

Develop solution architecture proposals for review with Collibra Product team and technical leads.

Define solution design document to implement agreed solutions.

Collaborate with Collibra implementation scrum team to assist with solution implementation and provide technical guidance.
