As a Research Assistant, you will help facilitate this vision by assisting with the implementation and conduct of human subject research projects. A caregiver in this position works days from 7:00 a.m. -- 7:30 p.m., 25–35 hours per week. Key Responsibilities Assist research team with research study related tasks. Assist with completion of protocol related activities. Obtain and maintain clinical competencies such as phlebotomy, vital signs, ECG, POC testing and other testing as required. Assist with the development and coordination of the research subject schedule in compliance with the research protocol. Assist with the collection, recording and maintenance of research study records. Demonstrate comprehension of assigned research protocols. Develop and maintain knowledge of research protocols to coordinate the comprehensive and compliant execution of assigned protocols. May assist in the development and maintenance of research tools, such as spreadsheets, questionnaires and/or brochures. Maintain study personnel certification records (License, CV, CITI). Establish and maintain filing systems. Order and stock supplies. Maintain professional relationships, including frequent and open effective communication with internal and external customers. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma/GED Demonstrated proficiency with a variety of computer-based skills, including Word processing, spreadsheets, and database and presentation software Understand basic concept of study design Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Qualifications One year of experience in a healthcare setting OR Bachelor’s Degree Knowledge of medical terminology Work Experience Minimum one year experience in a healthcare setting preferred. Degree may offset experience requirement. Physical Requirements Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information In some locations, ability to move up to 25 pounds Personal Protective Equipment Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required. Pay Range Minimum hourly: $16.47 Maximum hourly: $23.61 The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set and education. The pay range displayed does not include any applicable pay practices (e.g., shift differentials, overtime, etc.).
