This position reports to: Sales Manager

Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of products/systems/services within a designated market/division, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities.

This is a hybrid position in Miami, Florida.

This role is contributing to the Smart Power and Smart Building in Central America and Caribbean.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Communicating to the customers about details related to delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions, in line with ABB's offering and strategy.
• Ensuring efficient marketing activities and communicates value proposition to customers.
• Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market.
• Managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supports cash collection and project management activities, when needed.

Qualifications for the Role

• Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree (preferred but not necessary) with 3+ years of relevant experience, particularly in the electrical industry and with ABB products.
• Customer & Sales Expertise: Proven ability to work with OEM customers and channel partners, manage complex contract negotiations, and respond quickly to customer needs.
• Technical & Analytical Skills: Strong in technical applications, proposal development, and use of analytical software and sales tools; Six Sigma or equivalent quality training preferred.
• Communication & Leadership: Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with experience leading discussions and building strong customer relationships.
• Candidates should be fluent in English and Spanish.
• Work Authorization & Travel: Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US, and be willing to travel as needed.
